The “Chorizo de Martinillo”, popular name given to the chorizo made by La Unión 1890, has been declared as Gastronomic Heritage of Écija by the Association “Amigos de Écija” (Friends of Écija).

Our philosophy.
The philosophy of La Unión 1890 is focused on offering the greatest quality in our products, which is supported by two main pillars: on the one hand, the application of the tradition to the production process, which has characterised this company since its origins; and on the other, the performance and direct control in all the phases composing the production process: livestock breeding, slaughtering, cutting, production, and finally maturation and curing of Iberian hams and shoulders.
